Hello!

My name is Danielle DeRosa, I am 21. I currently attend the University of Central Florida where I am pursuing a Health Science degree. My goal is to attend PA school following my graduation December 2024.

I grew up in South Florida in the Broward County area. I attended Coral Springs Charter for both middle and High School. I played travel and school softball for a combined 10 years. Starting my freshmen year of high school I wrote for my school's newspaper, by the time I was a senior I was editor in chief. My interests include going to the beach and spending time with my dog Stanley. Right now I am working as a Medical Assistant to gain hands on experience in the field I want to be in.

High School: In high school I was in the Aice program where I had to pass 7 college level courses in order to earn the Bright Futures award. All four years I was involved in journalism where I became editor in chief of the school paper senior year. I volunteered at an animal hospital for two years doing administrative work. Before my senior year I was involved with Parkland Buddy Sports- a program that included kids my age to volunteer with special needs individuals by playing sports. I applied to UCF and started my journey there in 2020. I am a first generation college student as neither of my parents completed a bachelors degree.
